Meet the Makers Stories from Our Community.

Behind every listing on CraftFolks is a person with a story. We spoke with three makers about their journey from hobby to business, and how the marketplace changed their path.

Maya, a ceramic artist in Seattle, started selling at weekend markets. 'I was spending more time setting up booths than making pots,' she says. 'CraftFolks let me reach the same audience without leaving my studio.'

David, a woodworker in Nashville, values the direct connection with buyers. 'People message me about custom dining tables. They want to know where the wood came from, how it's finished. That conversation builds trust, and repeat customers.'

Priya, a textile artist in Brooklyn, found her niche through featured placement. 'I do block-printed linens, very specific, very handmade. CraftFolks surfaces my work to people who are actively looking for exactly that.'

These stories aren't unusual. They're the norm on a platform built for makers, not megastores. If you have a craft and a story, there's a place for you here.
