Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CraftFolks websites, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account or using CraftFolks, you agree to these terms.
CraftFolks is an artisan marketplace that connects buyers with independent makers. These terms apply to buyers, sellers, and visitors. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Accounts
Your responsibilities
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account credentials.
- You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction to create an account.
Enforcement
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
Marketplace rules
Buyers and sellers
- Buyers agree to pay for orders placed through CraftFolks and to communicate respectfully with sellers.
- Sellers agree to list only handmade or hand-finished goods they are authorized to sell, fulfill orders in good faith, and honor stated shipping and return policies.
Prohibited activity
- Prohibited listings include illegal goods, counterfeits, hazardous materials, and content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- CraftFolks may remove listings, cancel orders, or restrict features to protect buyers, sellers, or the integrity of the marketplace.
Payments, fees, and payouts
Checkout and charges
- Payment processing is handled by our payment partners. You authorize charges for purchases and applicable taxes or shipping.
- Refunds and chargebacks are handled according to our buyer-protection practices and applicable payment-network rules.
Seller fees and payouts
- Seller fees are disclosed in the seller experience and currently include a per-sale marketplace fee; there is no monthly subscription required to keep a shop open.
- Seller payouts are subject to verification, dispute holds, and processing timelines disclosed in the app.
Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting listings, photos, messages, or other content, you grant CraftFolks a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the marketplace.
Your content
- You represent that you have the rights needed to grant that license.
CraftFolks materials
- CraftFolks branding, software, and site materials remain our property.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
CraftFolks provides the marketplace on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not manufacture the goods sold by independent makers and are not a party to every transaction between buyers and sellers, except where required by law or expressly stated.
Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CraftFolks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Privacy
How we collect and use personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using CraftFolks, you also acknowledge that policy.

Privacy practices are covered separately and remain part of your agreement to use CraftFolks.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
