Request data deletion
Use this page to request deletion of some or all personal data associated with your CraftFolks account without deleting your entire account, where applicable.
How to request data deletion
- Email hello@craftfolks.com from the email address linked to your CraftFolks account.
- Use the subject line: CraftFolks Data Deletion Request.
- Tell us which data you want deleted (for example: profile photo, phone number, marketing preferences, saved addresses, or message history).
- We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.
- We will confirm by email when your request is completed or if we need more information.
What we can delete
- Profile details you added (name, photo, phone, addresses, and preferences)
- Marketing communication preferences
- Wishlist and saved favorites
- Non-essential account content you choose to remove
What we may keep
- Order, payment, tax, and dispute records required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance
- Support and moderation records needed to resolve open issues
- Information we must retain under applicable law
Retention periods vary by data type. Most deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Backup copies may take up to an additional 30 days to clear.
